Angelic Orbs: Broken Memories

Angelic Orbs: Broken Memories is a Visual Novel type game based on my webcomic Angelic Orbs. It takes place sometime in the future of the AO storyline, and therefore new characters are introduced in the game that have not yet appeared in the comic.

It is not necessary to have read the comic before playing the game, as the story works as a stand-alone.

A visual novel is what it sounds like – most of the game is made out of pure text, like reading a novel. It is accompanied by graphics that move around on the screen according to what is happening in the game, and music. There are also choices in game that you will have to take along the way. After all, you are playing as the main character in this story – depending on what you do, the story will play out in different ways. You may even die if you’re not careful.
Other famous visual novels are for instance Air, Fate/Stay Night and Narcissu.

The game is BoyxGirl and will have three paths: Tia, Yoko and Zyra, with 6 main endings.

Story:

You play as Kevin, whose life changes one day with a chance meeting with a demon hunting for a glass orb. Running for his life he ends up in a nearby town, where he encounters a strange group of people also on the lookout for this strange glass orb.

Soon he is dragged along unwillingly, and may even have to choose what side in this hunt he wishes to take.

Tia:
A young and energetic girl that is a part of the orb-hunting group that Kevin meets in town. Tia is very determined at reaching her goal and won’t let anything stand in her way.

Yoko:
Another member of Tia’s group. Yoko is a foreign warrior who usually keeps to herself. She acts very cold towards Kevin and obviously dislikes his entry into the group.

Zyra:
A mysterious woman with black wings who appears around Tia’s group. It is unclear what her motives are.
