The 14th February 2008 12Riven will be released in Japan. Being a huge fan of Ever17, I have really been looking forward to this game. I would love to get my hands on this game even though my PS2 still can’t play imported games. From looking at the pictures and listening to the music on the homepage for 12Riven it has brought me back to the same mood that I got from playing Ever17. I can’t resist that.

I must admit that my Japanese skills still aren’t good enough yet either, though. If 12Riven has as much technical talk in it as Ever17 had, then I doubt I will be able to go very far with my reading skills. (It was hard enough to understand in English sometimes :P)

I’m still hoping for Hirameki to be able to get Never7 and Remember11 translated into English, but as it looks now, we probably shouldn’t expect anything there at the moment. They have been silent for so long. Wouldn’t it be nice though? *crosses fingers*

Seriously, I need to draw some more Ever17 fanart. It is so underrepresented among all the Naruto fanart out there 😉

But oh well. I still have the rest of Comic Party to work my way through after Mizuki’s path, so it’s not like I don’t have anything to play <_<;;

Page 13 of part 2 is up.

So, I have just begun begun making layout sketches for part 3, and will also start drawing the actual pages soon. Hopefully I will do this a little faster this time, so I won’t have 6 months or more inactivity on the comic like after part 1 <_<

Apart from that, work is also being steadily done on the AO game :3 I’m a bit stuck with the writing on the last path now, though…. I hope to get past it soon. Almost all sprite sets are fully coloured now, too. You can see a small sample here.
(If you’re wondering what ‘game’ I’m talking about, I’m still planning on doing a proper blog post about that soon…. ^^; )

Page 12 has been added.

On another note, I have just recently begun reading the manga “After school Nightmare”. I’m only halfways into the 2nd volume, but I already like it a lot. The plot seems very original to me, and it has some of the same occult vibes that I also get from xxxHolic.Every thursday, students at the school must enter a special ‘class’ where they enter a nightmare – and in the dream they take on the true form of their hearts. Not only does the students have to go through a lot of things in these dreams, but they also have to face the other students the next day, knowing that they may have been there and seen their darkest secrets.

I must say I really hate Sou though. I can imagine a lot of certain fangirls loving him being there, but the story has to come up with something really good for me to accept him anytime soon 😛

The AO comic has been updated with page 11 of part 2.

I am now going to add a blog post like this one for every new page, and in this way enable readers to comment on the pages directly 🙂 Let’s see how that goes.
I wish there would be something more interesting to write here…. but alas, nothing comes to mind. I think that soon I will post about my other Angelic Orbs project here and tell more about it. It’s hard not to, actually.

AO has been updated!

Hanabi has also recently been approved on onlinecomics.net, and is available on my doujinshi page. It is a short 23-pages comic that won 3. place in Carlsen’s danish manga competition. I hope you’ll take a look at it 🙂
(So far it is the only comic in my gallery that you will have to read right-to-left, the japanese way)

I have finally begun updating Angelic Orbs again – now part 2 (v2) begins! Page 1 and 2 are up.
Updates will be every monday and thursday like with part 1. I will do my best to keep this up.

Also, AO has a forum again! Help liven things up a bit ^^

With this I will soon be able to post all new story bits. The old part 2 was never finished on the site, although all pages were drawn. This time the story and art has gone through a major overhaul, so we should able to see it through to the end. Look forward to the first real angel-encounter in the story ^^ (About from Tia of course…. :P)

This time the comic will not be coloured by hand like usual. I have decided to try colouring them on pc instead, and see how it goes. Feel free to tell me what you think, and if you prefer the old style.

I have also removed both the old part 1 & 2 from the site – they were far from pretty, and not really necessary anymore.
